Vanessa & Cole
Vanessa was crystal clear about wanting a wedding that felt transportive, didn’t follow a trend, and had beautiful foliage. This landed us on the very remote journey to Azulik, the otherworldly art museum designed by Argentinian architect Roth.
Tucked into the jungle of Quintana Roo, Mexico, the landscape was truly able to speak for itself as a backdrop for her and Cole’s celebration. We can still smell the copal, a beautiful incense that is commonly burned throughout indigenous ceremonies and easy to spot around the Mayan Riviera. Marigolds visually stimulated every single guest—inspired by Hindu weddings’ representation of the sun—as Jay Shetty led us all through a meditative and grounding practice while he officiated their nuptials.
From sleek 90s fashion, to the fun and colorful guest attire and live bands playing into the eve, it was a party we will not soon forget.
