Alexander Jorden is the photographic wedding brand developed by two fashion photographers, Jorden DeGaetano and Ian Merzwinski. After a chance encounter of both being a plus one at a media event—they briefly chatted—soon realizing they shared a similar vision for cinematically encapsulating raw, refined moments that are nostalgic by design, deeply human, and editorial by nature. Jorden, who had already been in the wedding industry, asked Ian to join him for a destination wedding, and the rest is history. The result is their core belief—that luxury can be soft, and sophistication can coexist with understatement.

With a combination of over 19 years of experience in both photography and modeling, they have worked everywhere from Kaua’i to Mexico, to the Amalfi Coast to Paris, while maintaining a studio based in Los Angeles.
